The anniversary hit me harder than I expected. We all know my coping mechanisms are shite.

I just want to thank you for all the things that you taught me. You had more of an influence on me than you knew. Thank you for your smiles and your brashness and for teaching me not to take myself so seriously. I'm sorry that you couldn't stay for longer.

I miss you. We all miss you. You would be so proud of Lachie. He's getting so big now, almost three and growing more like you every day. Liz is doing a stellar job.
